Yes, it is possible to sail in the Ottawa region, along the Quebec side of the Ottawa river. The Outaouais Sailing School is a non profit organisation operating in Aylmer since 1976 and its goal is to promote sailing as an accessible sport for everyone. Therefore, we offer a variety of interesting programs for everyone between 7 and 77 years old and of all skill levels.

We continuously strive to make sailing ever more fun and exciting. Every year, new programmes and activities are organized to make our sport more accessible.

The School will also offer group activities, for a duration of one or more days and tailored to your needs. This can include sailing tours or courses, practical activities on land or water, other nautical activities such as kayak or canoe, a day excursion to the Aylmer Island with picnic, etc.

The School is located at the Aylmer Marina, on one of the beaches of the Ottawa River.
